Chinese earth tiger / bird spider (Cyriopagopus schmidti)

Description

Scientifically known as Cyriopagopus schmidti, is a species of spider in the family Theraphosidae, found in China and Vietnam. It is one of a number of species known as “Chinese bird spider” and “Chinese earth tiger” and is said to be one of the largest Asian tarantulas.

Cyriopagopus schmidti is expertly preserved so you can keep it looking as beautiful as when you first received it for years to come. Please handle with care as preserved specimens can be very fragile.

This gorgeous specimen is an excellent piece for any collector/photographer.
