Male Saw Tooth Green Stag Beetle
Despite their ‘menacing’ appearance Lamprima adolphinae are not carnivorous and feed mostly on tree sap and rotting fruits.
Male specimens sport two large mandibles which are used for fighting other males, generally for mating or food.
Grown in West Papua, this gorgeous specimen is an excellent piece for any collector/photographer.

Excellent specimen and of A1 quality, cleverly packaged to ensure safe arrival.
